Dragon Ball Legends Team Guide

The strongest teams of the current meta, hand-curated: three core fighters, bench options and equipment tips for every top tag.

Updated:

🔀 Fusion Warrior

The poster team of the current meta: ULTRA SSGSS Gogeta delivers enormous strike damage while both Zamasu builds add healing and punish careless switches. The Z-Abilities line up almost perfectly, so the core works even without the newest banner units.

Core team

Bench

LF Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta · LF Vegito Blue · SP Super Gogeta (Red)

Equipment tips

Pure strike-attack equips on Gogeta, a mixed attack/defense set on Fused Zamasu and one health-focused equip on the support slot – Fusion Warrior tag equips give the biggest flat boosts.

✨ God Ki

Combines the two strongest attackers in the game – ULTRA SSGSS Gogeta and ULTRA Ultra Instinct Goku – with Fused Zamasu as a durable anchor. Massive burst damage with enough sustain to recover from a lost exchange.

Core team

Bench

LF Super Saiyan God Goku · SP Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta · SP God of Destruction Beerus

Equipment tips

Strike equips on both Ultras, one God Ki tag equip for the big flat boosts, and a defensive health set on Zamasu for the late game.

👨‍👦 Son Family

The classic all-rounder: huge health pools, strong strike defense and big damage multipliers thanks to perfectly aligned Z-Abilities. Beast Gohan and UI Goku carry the damage, Youth Gohan holds the defensive slot.

Core team

Bench

LF Bardock · SP Super Saiyan God Goku · SP Super Saiyan Goten (Kid)

Equipment tips

Blast-attack equips on Beast Gohan, strike on UI Goku, and health/strike-defense equips on Youth Gohan – Son Family tag equips play into the team's naturally high health.

♻️ Regeneration

Wins the long game: Janemba, Fusion Zamasu and Majin Buu heal every turn and simply outlast burst-oriented teams. Ideal if you like defensive, patient PvP.

Core team

Bench

LF Super Baby 2 · SP Orange Piccolo · SP Perfect Cell (Revived)

Equipment tips

Health and defense first: stack health-percentage equips on the whole core – Regeneration healing scales with max health – plus one damage equip on Janemba.

⚡ Hybrid Saiyan

Hybrid Saiyans hit fast and often: Beast Gohan and Gohan & Trunks chain combos while Youth Gohan covers defense. A strong pick if you pulled the 8th-anniversary units.

Core team

Bench

SP Super Saiyan Trunks (Kid) · SP Super Saiyan Goten (Kid) · LF Super Trunks

Equipment tips

Split by main stat: blast equips for Beast Gohan, strike for Gohan & Trunks, plus one Hybrid Saiyan tag equip and a defensive set on the Youth Gohan slot.

🐒 GT

Pure aggression around ULTRA Super Saiyan 4 Goku: SS4 Vegeta and SS4 Gogeta keep up the ki pressure and end matches before sustain teams come online. Simple game plan, very high damage ceiling.

Core team

Bench

SP Pan (GT) · SP Super Baby 2 · SP Majuub

Equipment tips

Full aggression: strike-attack equips on SS4 Goku and Gogeta, a mixed set on Vegeta, and one GT tag equip – here damage wins before sustain matters.

🛠️ Team Builder

Tap up to six fighters and see how well they fit together – shared tags mean aligned Z-Abilities and bigger boosts.

Pick at least two fighters – ideally start with your strongest damage dealer.

The meta shifts with every new banner – treat these builds as a proven starting point, not as the only option. Character names follow the English game version.
